bernie said to kathleen thats how i broke your daddys arm olivias fae was like confused or hurt in some way that she can be familiar with el's childhood maybe thats what happened to olivia and her mom el and liv are very similar in a lot of ways and this episode showed that their childhoods are very similar to the way they were brought up both were being raised by their mom who had problems and were abusive in diff ways but not emotional

That's what I thought also. Did anybody else notice that both Olivia & Elliot's fathers were named Joseph? I thought that was a crazy coincidence.

the producers are really gonna give us insight to e/o and how they def belong together cuz the way were brought up and now how they both dealing with personal stuff maybe thats how they gonna open up more to each other this season is all e/o
